CELEBRATIONS 2009
Come
and join the celebration of Kerala’s Traditional Harvest Festival Onam 2009
On Saturday, 26th September 2009.
The traditional Onam celebrations will be inaugurated by lighting the traditional
lamp at 12.30 noon followed by a cultural programme “Onapaattu”.
Highlights of the programme include

“Chendamelam” (Traditional Keralite drum)
-
Mahabali Procession
-
Traditional dances Dasha Avataram – Bharatnatyam, Semi Classical Dance,
Mohiniyattam, Bollywood Dance.
Members
and guests would also be treated to a lavish Onasadhya (Luncheon of
20 items served on a banana leaf)
after the cultural celebrations.
Members are requested to register their names with the Club’s Reception and
also purchase coupons for their Guests.
Charges for Members will be Dhs.30/- per head and Guest
Dhs.40/- per head.
