HOLI CELEBRATIONS

India Club celebrates Holi on Sunday, 28th February 2010
at 9 : 00 pm with the lighting of the traditional Holika.
Malhaar - the UAE's First Indian music choir group will perform
a live musical, multimedia show - Suro ki Holi for India Club
Members and their Guests.
After lighting the Holika the audience are invited to enjoy clippings
of Holi of Mathura, Vrindavan, Banaras, Barsana, Brij, Matkaa Phod, Rang Panchami
and Vasant Utsav celebrated in different parts of India under these names. Malhaar
will also perform a medley of some of the famous chartbusting Holi compositions
from Bollywood.
Suro Ki Holi will be encompassing of 1 ½ hour audio visual treat
and Malhaar will take the audience on a musical journey never experienced before.
Free Entry for Members and Dhs.25/- for Members Guests
to be purchased in advance from the Club's Reception.
The Management reserves the right to entry for the audience comprising
of the Members Guests. Traditional, mouth watering Holi delicacies will be available
on sale at different stalls.
